Yeah i'm pretty excited about it, Turn 10 hasn't disappointed me yet. Forza 3 has been pretty awesome and i've been happy to see they're still pushing out DLC's even with a new game on the horizon. I was starting to worry after GT5 came out and no new DLC's were showing up for FM3. I was a dedicated follower of the Gran Turismo series until I played Forza the first time, then I forgot all about GT. I've had all 3 Forza titles and all Gran Turismo titles through GT4. While both games have their strong and weak points, I wouldn't make the switch to a PS3 just for GT5.RCA wrote: Can't wait to see this bad boy in action. I figured Forza 2 = 8.5 , Forza 3 = 8.8 but GT5 would be a 9.5 out of 10. At this point I am hoping for some patches for GT5 to fix all the crap they spewed on to my PS3 after a 6 year development cycle. But I am not buying Forza 3 now, I am playing GT5 until the wheels fall off or until Forza 4 is released. Which ever comes first.
Yeah i'd like to be able to do more real world stuff as well, they've gotten better in each series but i'm hoping for a a lot more customization options in FM4. Not sure how I feel about the whole Kinect approach, though the demo they had at E3 was awesome with the Kinect being used to open doors and the hood and to look around the car. Just don't know if I like the idea of using it to do actual races.
Oh and I'm not at all happy that they haven't released a DLC for the added cars in the Ultimate edition.
It's quieter by far, it's a much better system overall. If you get one just make sure it stays well ventilated, it still gets really hot if you have it in a tight space(that's what she saidtakethewall wrote: Any quieter? ). They said they fixed the cooling issues in the new ones but i'm not willing to risk it. So far though it has given me zero problems in the 5-6 months i've had it, other than freezing up on Fallout: New Vegas, which is a known issue with the game and not the system. Yeah I was worried at first the it was the Xbox, then I read about the issues online so it made me feel a lot better. It's still really annoying that it decides to randomly freeze in the middle of a mission. Of course my wife plays more than I do so she gets even more pissed at ittakethewall wrote:Fallout freezes on my ps3 all the time... so irritating.
