While I'm a bit of a PS3 purist... I'm inclined to go with you on that one. HA

Any Altima Coupes in Forza 2 or 3 by chance?

There is no coupe in F2 just the sedan but I would say for sure that it will be in F3.

Seeing the link there with info on F3 makes me really hope they don't dumb it down like the NFS series. The drifting and drag races are what have me worried. In F2 drifting is NOT something that's easy to pick up on. But even if it is dumbed down a little I'll still be first in line to pick up my copy.

One thing I really hope for is to be able to import paint designs from F2. I literally have thousands of hours in to my paint designs that I would hate to have to reproduce in a new game. I got F2 on release day and it still gets at least 5 hours a week of play time. It's just that addictive.

You know we do have a Landin from Turn 10 here in the boards. Who knows maybe after reading your post it might just make it in the game. Forza 3 probably has way more detail/polygons than Forza 2 so it probably won't be compatible, besides it will make the auction house feel like new. No repeat designs, if there are repeats they will most likely be nicer.

I wouldn't worry about it being dumbed down I think they only mention drag/drift because a large part of the community participates in those activities, If anything the physics/realisim will improve.

The only reason I got back into Forza 2 was because Forza 3 is supposedly coming out and I wanted to get F2 completed before the next one came out. Now I just have 2 endurance races left and I'm done for the most part, just have to get the rest of europes cars and the last handful of America's cars.

Personally I hope they bring back the point to point tracks that they had in Forza but ditched in F2, that's all that was really missing form the second one, well that and I was hoping they'd have put in different exhaust graphic choices. They need to work on the sound too since all the cars sound the same depending on what size engine they have, adding the race exhaust just makes it louder, and they seriously need to get some pop in the exhaust sounds and I'd love to see some flamage from the exhaust with certain mods and especially the R class cars.

As far as the drifting goes, I hope they just tweak it a bit, kinda like the drifting in Grid, but that will mean they will have to implement a clutch button and there's already a lot going on as it is. I'd also like to be able to modify my tuning setup it the pits, just like they can for real.

As far as the tuning goes, maybe get some engine tuning in there so you can modify your AFRs and your boost on F/I cars, but make it so the wrong tune will do damage to your engine. And we need more engine swap options, like for real, a 240Z with an ls1 option would be smokin.

I have tons of ideas but I doubt I'll see any of them.

Thats what I did. Forza and COD4

But on a serious note...Where the HELL are these video game makers going to come up with 100 tracks?
