Im sure if you did enough research on NICO you could find in pretty good detail how to remove a KA, but luckily for you I'm bored and killing time waiting for an auction to end, so I'll type up the steps for removal out of the Chilton book...
1. Remove Hood, then battery.2. Drain coolant and transmission fluid, remove radiator and fan shroud after disconnecting transmission fluid coolant tubes.3. Remove intake system, fan, and pulley.4. Disconnect: Water Temperature gauge wire, oil pressure sending unit wire, ignition distributor primary wire, starter motor connections, fuel hose, alternator leads, heater hoses, throttle and choke connections, engine ground cable, thermal transmitter wire, wire to fuel cut-off selenoid, and vacuum cut selenoid wire.5. Disconnect brake booster hose from engine.6. Remove clutch operating cylinder and return spring.7. Disconnect speedometer cable from transmission, disconnect backup light switch and all other wires to transmission. (on manual transmission model, remove shift lever from inside car.)8. Detach exhaust pipe from exhaust manifold, remove front section of exhaust. 9. Remove driveshaft, place jack under transmission and remove rear crossmember.10. Attach hoist to engine, unbolt front engine mounts, and lift engine and transmission out.
There ya go, good luck with it. Oh yea, I would advise buying a FSM or a repair manual like I used before attempting this, just for when you find something and youre like "wtf is this?"
