The Canadian International Auto Show opens today, and the Nissan Forum concept is there. There are a lot of things I like about it, but can you imagine trying to defrost all that glass in the winter?

I'd have to say, my favorite concept is the Azeal, and of course the Sport Coupe, but I have a kid and so 2-doors are out of the question for me. Do you guys think the Azeal will ever be born, or would it take too much from Sentra's target market? Maybe we'll see a Versa coupe in the next five years?

Personally I'd rather see a roof with imbedded solar panels running or aiding a lot of the electrical stuff including a/c, boosting the mpg a little bit. Toyota is coming out with a Prius with that concept; some electric vehicles like the Aptera already have it functional.

I like the glass roof idea, it makes it more roomy inside and looks cool. My gripes are is the glass durable, how much can it handle before it starts to crack and chip and how often for replacement?

Solar panels are a must especially with gas prices going up during the summer (guarantee). That will help power up the vehicle's engine, lights, etc. The back seats are great, they turn around 180 degrees?

I can't wait for this to get released, looking forward to different concepts and future designs of vehicles to come.

Yea, but as we all know with concepts...the production version normally looks nothing like the concept.

Concept. Not meant to be practical. That is the difference between concept and pre-production/production.

At the most you'll see small hints of it on production cars. Example: Nissan Bevel concept (google it) leading to the beveled surfaces on the Cube and others. And FYI, the Forum has been around for quite a while. Nothing new. There will be a new concept unveiling at the upcoming Geneva show, the Qazana. http://www.autoblog.com/2009/0...again/

Defrosting the glass??

I'm in Cali and I'm thinking how hot will my car get in the summer? will the interior hold up with all of the sun exposure. The whole glass thing looks cool but is so impractical. Maybe if it had some sort of cover like sunroofs do it'd be okay.
