I had a few pics of some of the cars from last week Drift competition held at Infineon raceway it was a blast te Muscle rides took over the show in the end Corvette, Mustang, Charger and Pontiac Solstice... wouldn't it be nice to have a rear wheel drive "V" now back to reality

I have the utmost respect for drifters and how hard it is to maintain an "out of control" car in a controlled manner.

However, I just don't get drift. Racing is hard enough on tires... why do you need to do THAT to your car? Isn't it enough to just go fast and beat your opponent outright?

drifting isn`t really a race, its more of a style contest... who can keep better control, get more sideways and have more speed through out the run. I guess you`ve never been drifting before, its fun and not to mention it just looks damn cool, lol

I had an RX-7. That was scary enough for me. I sold the car because I didn't want to kill myself, because I knew myself too well.

(Besides, not too many people can oversteer a FWD car. I can.)
