Hey i was just wondering who all is plannin on going 2 Formula D Championship at Infineon raceway (formerly Sears point) in Sonoma, CA

July 11...starts at noon...$20 entrance fee

first outing for the project car... came back from paint today... reassembly has begun...se ya there... going this week to the races out there too!

89 fast back painted BMW toledo blue 91 front end

i hear admission is $20...does any1 know if its 20 for a car load...or 20 per person? if its 20 per person thats hella dumb...but we'll see...ill be there no matter what...ill be the black 240 hatchback, with the silver fender...haha...(paint job soon)

yeah, if its the same as the formula d in houston then its $20 per person. If any of ya'll have went to hot import nights and thought what a big waste of money it was, then your right, this is I think worth the $20, but if I were yall spend $5 more and get the VIP ticket, it ensures you have a place to sit and not stand up like the $20 folk. Thank god for my friend though, his mom works at ticketmaster, so I got the VIP ticket for only $5! (as well as 3 of my friends)

Is anybody going to hit up the American Lemans Series race at Infinion the weekend after Formula D? On July 18th?Last year a smaller, less powerful car from the LMP675 class beat the ever dominating Audi R8 - it should be interesting.There are some new cars competing this year, Saleen S7R, Lamborgini Marucilago, Panoz ect.Tons of fun.Infinion info Intro to ALMS [IMG]

wow i put a post up about this yesterday with no responses. Maybe it was in the title I used. Anyway glad to see fellow NICO members goin. I was goin to go with my gf, but she had prevsious plans to watch her friends race bikes at laguna seca that weekend.

So is anybody interested in meeting up in the bay area and all heading up together??? I personally live on the peninsula and would love to drive up with some other people. Would be kinda cool to see a bunch of 240s driving all in together.

p.s. if my gf missed this event for any other reason other than another race, her stuff would be all over the front lawn.

well since we all dont live in the same places, maybe we could have several meeting places.

Maybe start on the peninsula somewhere and work our way north. Lets say meet San Mateo somewhere, then Golden Gate Bridge, then a few more spots along the way, that way we can pick people up as we go??

Let me know if you are interested. If I am the only one on the Peninsula goin, then i will just drvie straight up to the Golden Gate and hook up with people there

thats cool, I am comin from Half Moon Bay so I whereever is convienant.

I would encourage people who are plannin on goin to take the initative and figure out where would be good meeting places. Also we need to figure out what time to meet also. Figure we would want to get there early, and its kinda a long drive from the bay.

i have no idea is there a parking lot just before or after the bridge?? Something like a park and ride or a large shopping center?? Anyplace just off the freeway with a large lot to find people easily is ideal
