{/quote}I generally don't get to the NICO events, but was able to make it to Carlisle this year, As far as Formula D goes, as upset as I am about missing it this year I'm not as upset as I would have been a couple of years ago when it was actually worth going to. The first couple of years they were in Jersey the Paddock and Show area was phenominal, then they started slacking more and more, and now the paddock area isn't as good as it once was. It's to the point now that the drivers are either too busy doing VIP signatures, or interviews or otherwise not around. Not only that but it's just way to populated with wannabe's and fanboys, instead of hardcore fans. Meh. THe only car I was excited to see this year was Gittin's RTR Mustang. The rest of the field are either Solctice GXP's or random crap cars instead of Silvia's, RX's and Hachi's.[/quote]
You would have been surprised I know I was. I have been going since it has been at Wall and today during qualifying it was more of a return to basics.(well yesterday) There were a lot more 240s this year it seems everyone wanted one during the off season. As for drivers you just gotta catch them when there busy. Met a few today(yesterday) who were real cool and we had a legitimate conversation not like he was just bullshitting, its all about when you catch them. As for the track yeah it is kind of boring s*** i love going but it's the same thing every year(hell I know the lines).
