Hello Ladies, :gapteeth:

Just wanted to show you what I have been working on. Made a small compilation of random shots I had laying around. and yes I'm trying out the fire scene, don't know if I like it just yet :ohno:

Little bit on info on this gadget:

This thing has 185 hp and weighs around 1300 pounds (with driver).
revs to 14k

and it looks stunning !

Please let me know what you think. I am practicing with the beat breakdowns on Final cut, hence all the color changing. (if you listen closely you can see how it cuts to new scenes every break)

I sure do. But let me get more footage so i can put together something special. We are headed to Daytona this weekend and I will probably fill the void on that one.

As for the music: Remember you might not like it but 20,000,000 others will. :werd:

I am thinking about putting the camera near the rear suspension components. On top and front wheel.

Thing looks sick. How much R&D was put into ground effects? Who do you work with? Can we get more specs?

Formula 1000 is an SCCA class with a lot baselined out for you already. You can read about it in the SCCA GCR.

A tonnnnn of R&D took place. Every piece is Functional.

Lets just say I do tons of work with these guys and the RFR cars. ;)

Motor is a 1000cc suzuki mated to a 6speed sequential box.

as for the functionality of the body work

Front is a one piece composite anhedral, front wing with adjustable flaps, shoes and end-plates.
Stepped floor bib with sidepod aero funnels and covers.
Rear: adjustable 3-element aluminium wing structure using FIA F3 profiles complemented by a diffuser.

It's a nicely done vid, but I think the problem is that it is exactly as you described it. It's a bunch of random images with timed color/hue changes tossed in.

If the goal of the the vid was to introduce us to the car, what it can do, without dialogue, there should be a progression (story) to hook the viewer. Also, if you're thin on action, you might want to think about adding other important features like the interior, motor, rear end, even the driver.

The music was okay, it worked well for the paddock/garage, but not with the action footage. Overall, good job.
