This was typed on my mobile so I apologize if it's hard to read. Let me start by saying two things..1 this is 1st time I've owned and SR and 2. I'm more of a buyer then doer. So I took the valve cover off and all the cam brackets and went to pull the cam off when I noticed that I forgot to do TDC. So I figured since I didn't mess with the sprockets yet i could still put in TDC. When I was adjusting the crank shaft to the 2nd notch, TDC, the intake side Cam popped out of its spot and the intake sprocket shifted over to the exhaust side sprocket. The timing chain didn't come off any teeth so I grabbed some zip ties and zip tied the chain. So my question is, what do I need to do now so I can take the cams out and bleed the lifters? I still need to go TDC before I proceed any farther but I can't get the cam shaft back over in its slot. Any help would be great, I'll try and take a picture.

This is how she currently sits.

bungee cord to keep tension on the chain if the S14 SR has a problem with it falling off the crank sprocket. On the SR20VE that isn't a problem. Cut the zip ties hold up chain take cams out and have someone put the crank to TDC. The cam timing you can look that up its all over the net.
