Before I get into it all, I have done some searching. Here is my situation... I'm in the process of building a wide-body vert. I've got the Version Select 3 kit and Tein Super Drift coil-overs. The over-fenders are the 50mm frp add-ons for the rear and 20mm for the front. Being that the VS3 kit is such a huge kit, I'd like to go with 18's. I'm in the market for Work or Volks... Don't really know what width and offset to get to keep it flush and clear the coil-overs. I was thinking maybe 18x9 front and 18x11, 12 or 13 for the rear? I'd appreciate any constructive feedback...thanks guys and gals.

BTW, this is the only link I found while searching having to do with over-fenders and wheel offsets.zerothread?id=208749

I would go with some work meisters or equvelant. My buddy just sold a set of these.

They were 17x9 F with a -7 offset and 17x10 R -12 offset. I could be wrong on the offsets but these things stuck out like 2-3 inches past the stock fender with no tires on them.

If you can squeeze it I would go with 10's in the front and 11's or 12's in the rear. The question is can you afford it??

The moneys not the problem...even if I have to save for a bit to get them. I've got fairly good income and vendor discounts! Do you happen to have a pic of those works on that car?

Time to break out the calculator, straight edge, and tape measure...looks like you're gonna have to measure your vehicle to determine what'll work best for you.

To get started, download this form from Fikse and fill it out-http://www.fikse.com/fitment.html

The important measurements are your frontspacing, backspacing, and wheel height. That'll give you MAX dimensions. From there its just a matter of looking at the wheels you want and converting its width and offset to frontspacing/backspacing and seeing if it'll fit.

I've seen an S13 with the same sized overfenders wearing 18x9.5 +10 in the front and 18x10.5 +12 in the back and it sat very well. Coulda used slightly more rear width or less offset to fill the overfenders better, but still look awesome.

They will fit the car but will look sunken with 50mm over fenders, thats the same offset I have on my Zenki and I don't run any type of over fenders.

He needs some serious offset, were talking in the negatives here.

don't worry...progress pics will be up in time. As of right now the car is parked in my driveway with a blown head gasket. I've got alot of work to be done...more than what I've stated here in this thread. When I can actually get it into our shop, I'll start whoring out project pics. So far you guys have been helpful, thanks. I am apprehensive when posting cause I don't care for the maturity level of some of the Nico members. If anyone else has any more ideas that'd be great!

That looks killer. So thats a 17x9+14 huh. Hmmm. So you think that wheel in a Zero offset would work? Also, I was just taking lunch and was flipping through the new Turbo Mag. They've got JE Import Performance's car rockin 19" Volks. Those are a little too big for me, but that's the look I am going for, just in an 18" wheel instead. Unfortunatly turbo has not updated the website for the pics, but I got this off of JEIP's page...sorry its so small.

Do you guys think something along these lines would work?http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...QrdZ1

Don't know if this is exactly the look I am going for, but size wise? 18x10 -9 and 18x11 -14

Those would definately work. They might take a little camber to keep under the fenders, but run a stretched tire and everything will be a gravy.

JE Import's RB26 powered S13 hatch is gorgeous. Saw it in Turbo magazine. I thought 19's would have been out of place on it but man was I wrong. Those Volks look so sexy on it.

the wheels in that pic are actually 17x9 +15, but 1mm doesnt make a noticeable difference

2nd, 17s in front will let you get nice and low, notice how the 19s on that car mean the front has to sit way up even though its nearly tucking tire, that car also probably has tubbed fenders to clear that setup

like i said, 17x9.5 front, 18x11 rear, thats something to aim for

thatd take a LOT more than a little camber

throw like a 40mm spacer on your rota's, with stock fenders, thats what were talking here...like another 15mm past what i recommended, plus theyre 18s in front, so you run into the ride height problem again

you could probably run archflares in the front to make them work if you so desire, but youd have to find like 30 or 35mm flares

As I stated before, I've got alot planned for this car. Tubbing the fronts actually happens to be one of those things. My other problem is the bodykit mixed with NH roads. I need to beable to drive this car too. IMO a 17" wheel slammed would put this car way to close to the pavement. That is why I feel an 18" all around would be better for this application. I do however understand where you are coming from and do see your POV. On a non kitted s13 chassie your setup would work great. The 19's...too big.

Im planning on it

My fault, I read this thread quickly on my way to class. I thought he said he was running 50mm front fenders, which wouldnt make much sense in the first place. Thanks for correcting me..

What nismo? He could definately fit those 10's up front. About -2.5 camber with a stretched tire and he should be able to fit them with 20mm overs. Even if they dont fit you could always have someone cut the overs in half and lengthen them to like 30mm. Though his P/S might take quite a beating with 10's.
