1994 Q45 under 10,000 miles stored but $16,500 Firm when the going rate is $6-8K...........it would be a buy at $10-11,000. I want to watch to see what it brings.http://www.executivecleancar.com/Q45.htm

I was wondering Qtech, What would need to be done to a car like that thats been sitting around for a long time? Are things like shocks and bushings shot? Has the rubber dried out. The parts are 10 years old. $16500 is a little steep but it's a very nice car.

225/50-17 tires shows he is not knowledgable about peroformance requirements, so maintenance may be suspect.

That's a beautiful car! I'd have to look at to see if I really believe the mileage. I bought a used instrument cluster on eBay that had a lot of dust on and in it, so I took it apart to gently clean everything. Lets just put it this way... anyone with a screwdriver, about an hour of spare time, and an ounce of mechanical knowhow can make the Q's odometer read whatever they want it to!

From the pictures I believe the mileage though...

As far as what would need to be replaced (besides reinstalling the air box :D)- I recently did a complete suspension overhaul on "Q2" with 47K on the odometer. I was surprised at how good everything looked - but it still had a squeak or two when it was cold outside. Rather than nickle and diming it to death over the next 3-5 years I decided to just replace everything rubber and be done with it.

I'm not sure when they changed over to digital odometers, but I think your 99 has one. Can't help you there!

Wes just found the MOST EXPENSIVE set of replacement seats :D.

That's a CLEAN example. I have to ask, since it's in the ATL, Q45Tech have you looked the car over?

Haha. Buy the car just for the seats....

I would like to get the official Q45tech inspection on it..... Those are the kinds of things you would buy a LOW mileage Q for... They may look and drive the same, but wear on stuff like that isnt something that is usually replaced....!

Not a big fan of the color combo, but DAMN!

The wheels help.... Not sure I'm liking the idea of a CAI on such a pristine ride.

Where's the NICO emergency fund?

To save this from possibly falling into the wrong hands.

Personally, I dont like the rims.... The color combo isnt the greatest either.... Id throw some pies or BBS right away!!!

If only I had 16 grand lying around.... Thats HAS to be the LAST G50 Q with under 10,000 miles.....

I'd drop $11,000 on it today... assuming everything is as advertised. My mom could drive it, or I'd drive it on alternating days...

I dont want it. As much as I love the Q, its an expensive decade-old car. On an old one thats well-maintained and you've replaced many of the major components, at least you know whats broken, and dont mind driving it like you stole it.

Having 200k on the odometer means you dont care anymore, and thats the way to do it!

Did the 94 base Q come with heated seats and tcs? I thought that you could only get that on a T. I assume that there are not many base Q's with those options - - - at least not many with heated seats running around Texas!

If that is actual mileage it seems incredible to find one that low. What a waste of a $50K non-collectors car!

Incredible that anyone could have a Q and actually not drive it. A Q in the garage is just screaming "drive me!!"

WHY WOULD YOU BUY THIS CAR , WHEN MY 91Q IS WAY CHEAPER , FASTER , ETC. I DID PUT IT IN THE 'BST' SECTION , NO NICO INTEREST AT ALL. NOW , WITH MY M45 IN THE GARAGE , I DRIVE THE Q ONCE A WEEK .

No bites on my Q either. I really would feel weird about selling my sweetheart to a non-NICO person, which is why I havent placed it on Autotrader, and why I'm considering keeping it anyway.

Jesda , the more I wait , the closer it will get to my daughter 16 birthday this summer . I will give the Q to her - a good safe , heavy car to bang around as a 'training machine' .(minus the snow days ) . The car is in sweet condition now , and she may wreck it , we'll see .I would still like to sell her to a NICO member though .

The heated seats and TCS were part of a winter package option. When my 95 base Q was purchased, that's pretty much all they had in the showroom. Here in NJ, with the winters, you'd be stupid to get a RWD car without TCS. I guess that why you have the redundancy of a car with TCS and LSD. For the markets that don't have winter, at lease they still have LSD.

When I am ready to buy a Q, I will come here. Reduces risk of being screwed over big time.
