From what I hear the stock RB20 rods are forged from factory, that the weak party is actually the piston? If this is true, I was going to get some supertech pistons instead of the whole rods and all.

How much power do you intend to make to the wheels? The rods in the 20 are quite stout.

Just looking to make 350 to 450rwhp. Looking to be running a 3076R, with the head ported and polished, 650 or 750cc injectors, and stage 1 cams. I just don't want to push the pistons, rather put some forged ones on to make it easier to reach my power goal. Btw this motor is being completely rebuilt.

before you spend alot of coin on the bottom end i may be interested in selling you my setup...needs a re-ring as the orignal rings supplied with the pistons failed to seat. ever.

if your going to being doing a full rebuild anyway better to go with forged internals for peace of mind after spending thing that kind of money on upgrades
