I guess they are eagle rods, I thought they didn't make em for ka?don't know, at the bottom it says "we are the largest dealer for arias pistons and eagle rods" or something...

yeah that price seems to good to be true, actually that is way lower than any kind of dealer or wholesale cost.

side note - you can get forged pistons with rings for under 300, ka rods are strong

well the pistons are flat top and sit .020" below deck (33.5mm comp ht.) i can get them in 90+mm bores to

i can also get them with a 10cc dish for even lower comp.

edit: or i could be a nice guy, and tell you how to get them yourself for a bit cheaper. If anyone is interested ill start a new thread about it. im going to use a set myself in the next hybrid ka im building, to replace the starion piston ka i have now

if anyone is interested I've been emailing the seller of the ebay auction, he said he has arranged for a local machine shop to produce a very limited number of KA rods for a few high HP local customers, and he is waiting to install them and see how they hold up before he brings them to the rest of the world, which could be interesting.

He also agreed that the "eagle 300zx rods may fit the ka24de" myth is interesting and promised to investigate it and come out with a verdict.

He also sells crower ka rods, if anyone is interested.

Anyway seems like a pretty cool guy. He apologized again for the typo in the auction.

nope, none. never heard back from him. devious did send me an email a while back about the pistons though. if you are interested in devious's "deal" then I'd email him directly. I probably will be soon so I can go ahead and send my engine off.

i'm tearing down my motor shortly, low CR pistions will go in--so i'm in the market for a set. i'll email DEVIOUS and see.
