If you're looking for forged pistons, there are many companies like JE, Arias, Ross that make them for the KA. You have to specify the CR and if you want stock bore or oversize.

Chris may blew up his car. He was a boost junkie, he knew he had overheating problems and kept the boost too high, kaboom.

hes selling his car, stripped right now after blowing a junk/used turbo engine he blew trying to run the same boost in that one as his old "race build" engine.-chet

My friend Chris May has been through alot so I don't blame him for wanting to sell his car. I don't think Chris is the type of person that would push his car knowing there is something wrong with it. If you want piston specs. I have them on my site Here Keep in mind these are .020" overbore.

Depending on how much boost you want to run, I would recommend a CR of 9.0/1.

9.0 :1 ? isnt that a little high ? i always thought turbo motors were alot lower ? i am wanting to build a KA_t also. I was thinking like maybe 8.0 :1 or maybe even like 7.5:1 am i way off for some reason ? I want to go for like 350+ maybe even like 400hp

You do not want to go that low...... Your torque will go out the window. Run 8.5:1 or something close and you will be set.

If you want to run over 15psi, run 8.5/1 CR.

I plan on running 15 psi plus with a t04e. I am trying to get the piston specs so i can get them made by a machine shop. I need to know the compression distance, bore and head cc inorder to get them made. I will be made from 2618 forged aluminum with 1400 degree melting point. I plan on 8.5/1 pistons

I carry them in stock for cheaper than any manufacturer, and all the work is already done for you (extra thick ring lands, extra pin and ring oilers, special rings for turbo and nitrous, etc...) Also, you don't have to wait, since I already have them in stock and could ship them as soon as tomorrow morning

They are forged, 0.5mm oversized, and feature a 8.5:1 Compression Ratio.
