Forged Connecting Rods?

Forged Connecting Rods?
I heard this rumor from one of my friends that she thinks that theres forged connecting rods in the ka...I wouldnt know cuz I'm a noob. But if there is then that would save me a few hundred dollars.

yes, they are forged. you can put some power to them before they will go. Just for safety's sake though, you could always have them shotpeened to help strengthen them some.

would they be able to handle bout 300 hp you think after they were shotpeened?

Thats funny last I've seen ABLE racing built a KA-T with 380whp. Pretty shure IVAN has done it as well. SHOT PEENED can be strong and reliable if the engine is finely tuned.nissanfanatic wrote:No way.. Stock internals can only hold 200whp....
FYI KA rods are shot peened.
