I did some research on Fortune Auto coils and they seem so effing legit. I was planning on jumping in a group buy to get a set for $400 under retail but it ended too soon. Also, these bad boys take 2 months to assemble and another 2 months to ship out so turn around time will be forever on something like this.http://www.fortune-auto.net/Is there anyone out there running these beasts? I would like to know how they feel. Stance seems to be following the idea of a forged anodized body and I'll bet it's going to catch on with other companies soon as well.

I heard a bunch of people in Virginia use it, and with good results.

The adjustment knob goes into the top of the coil just like any other, it just isn't shown in the picture.

like any other coilover?Inverted monotubes have their adjustment knobs on the bottom, not the front. The discription is vauge. Monotube? Twintube?

I have a feeling these would be just like any other entry level coilover like Stance or PBM (I think PBM's are 50mm pistons too)

I do like the fact that they offer custom valving though... that's pretty cool.

Actually, that's a good question. They don't even list whether they are monotube or not..... kinda shady? Seems like they may be more bling than functionality.Anyway, here's the adjustment knob.

pretty sweet!

I'm gonna have to look more into them. I'm kind of in the market for some new coilovers, and I want to try something new.

You said there was gonna be a group buy or something?

There was a group buy but it's over now. I contacted the owner to see when they will be having another so I'll let you know what he says.

cool beans man.

Make sure you post it up in 240sx gen chat, you'll definitely get more hits for the group buy. more people = cheaper for everyone

I'll agree with that statement. The only thing good about Virginia is the beer. Oh, wait. That's everywhere. Nevermind, Virginia sucks...

I'm in the market for some coilovers, if I have the money when the group buy starts, I'll jump on board for sure.

Lowering springs aren't doing it for me.

I 2nd the motion that VA sucks a**. I mean there's VIR, but only if you happen to live in the middle of VA, where NOTHING exists excpet Virginia Tech in Blacksburg.

As for contributing to this thread - I've not heard of these ultra green coilovers, nor of anyone using them. Then again I'm a hermit crab to the import community here.

They kind of remind of the Kei Office coilovers, at least similar in color.

Any news on the group buys?I Intense-Power has a great deal on Stance coilovers and I'm wondering if I should jump on that deal or wait it out for these fortune-auto ones.

I still haven't received a response from the seller. I'm about to e-mail them again to see what I can find out. Don't worry, I'll post up here as soon as I find out whats going on.
