Has anyone had any experience with Microsoft/Fords Sync system? I really would like an audio system that can infterface with my Zune and as far as I know that is the only system that does. I'm wandering if it's just a headunit with special software or something more. If it's just a headunit, would it be possible to install it in my car?

Without looking more closely at the unit itself, my guess is that it's all in the head unit. However, without some custom install work on the console, it probably wont be an easy swap. You would have to mod most of the buttons into a new position, and then probably do some custom fiberglass work to mount it. I'm sure it's doable, but it would probably be cost prohibitive.

That was my fear. I don't want to do a lot of modification, I just really wish someone else would make a head unit that would interface with a Zune. Oh well, I guess I'll just be staying stock.
