I would like to know what this car has in it that makes it a SVT.it cant be the motor.it at 120mph must be its limet. took on some kid on the freeway today.at 125mph i pass him and at 135mph i put 1/8 mile on him befor i made my turn.that look he gave me was the high point of my day. yes 135mph.some one side i would not get to 140mph. just 5 away.:icesangel

if there were other car around i would have let him go. it was just him and me out there for about a mile.i have been racing for over 16 years now.i know my car and its limets and i dont push it past them. i dont dow it in town or in the rain.i started racing overseas and let me tell you.thay are nuts over there.:ylsuper

The Focus SVT I believe has a turbo. I could be mistaken. It put out 170 hp and has a 6 spd transmission...

Did this just to get your attention that I'm talking to you. In your sig it says you have 167hp? is that dyno'd to the wheels? Because if it is, i'd have to call BS. Most dyno around 140, and an intake/exhaust will not gain you almost 30hp.

The turbo focus that you all are talking about is only in europe. It is like the RS, awd, and makes like 200-10 hp, 6 spd. Somewhere around there. Its fast as hell.

yes some kid at my school has a svt contour. when i first saw it i was laughing becuase it had ground effects and rims. i was like who the hell would fix up this ugly *** car. then i found out it was an svt. it is pretty fast but i still beat him.

My 167hp is at the fly wheel and not the wheels.take away10% for drive train lose and that come out at around 150hp at the wheels.all of the reading were taking at 80mph+ that so my ram air works and i have other mod as well most of them i am told do not work. so thay tell me.but thay do and i have been tuning sports car and truck for over 10 year.i no what works and what does not on the street.as for going 135mph i have aGPS in my car that tells me my top speed.it is 1mph low than my speedo so i use the lower number. yes i have used it in other cars and most are right on the gps numbers.on my 97 when the needel get to the trip reset that is 130mph.or it could be that my car doesnt play by the rules.:ylsuper
