I know this is not a Ford website, but I love the Factory Service Manual (FSM) that was available for my 2001 Altima, and was wondering if anyone knew of a similar site for Ford manuals. I also have a 2006 Taurus and was curious if an FSM was freely available somewhere. I have not had much luck finding one.

Thanks!

They're definitely tougher to find than Nissan FSMs. Generally Ford refers to them as Workshop Manuals, which can help a bit when googling.
In my experience as a Ford owner, Ford's Workshop Manuals are nowhere near as thorough or well-designed as Nissan's FSMs. I never bothered with one for my Ranger. They're okay reference books, but they lack the endless detail that has made Nissan FSMs indispensable for me.

I have had some luck spotting paperback Workshop Manual sets on ebay for various Fords. They're never cheap, though. If you're lucky, you might find a digital version of your floating around. I'd start searching Taurus owners' forums--someone has to have a link to one somewhere if it exists.

Honestly you'd probably get better information and more straight forward instructions for repairs from a Haynes or Chilton manual for it.

Another suggestion is Alldata DIY. They run sales on the subscription, so you can get it for around $10/yr but it's normally $20 per vehicle I think for a year. They have every bit of information you'd get from a workshop manual.
