Definitely seems like this is the direction the industry is going in the face of CAFE and higher MPG regulations, at least until hybrids become much better options. I'd like to see a nice, modern twin-scroll twin-turbo V6 in the Q50!

Awesome!

Nissan's valvetrain tech is among the best in the industry. It should help build an engine particularly well-suited to boost. I wish they'd attach it to an engine that's not twenty years old, though.

Also, I have a feeling the average American is going to have a hard time figuring out how to prononce "Eau Rogue." "I got a new queue-fifty eeeeew rogue!"

Well, half the Rogue owners spell it "Rogue," so maybe it'll balance out.

:chuckle: So true. I remember working at a department store in a rural town below the mason Dixon line, (decades ago) where the only French the locals knew were fries.

That car is HOT! I'd have to buy a house before I bought that car, but MAN! That doesn't mean I won't be driving reaaaaaaal slow past the Infiniti dealership to get a good look every day.

If it still has that gayer-than-aids steer-by-wire system, it doesn't matter how powerful it is. It may as well have the numb and lifeless steering gear from an 80s Volvo.

Infiniti is an irrelevant, lifeless brand in the modern world. It hasn't made an impact on the industry since the 2003 G35.

Yes, they're both brands that have axed their best model in favor of generic "entry lux" trash.
They're also both brands that have managed to piss me off.

Q45? Sorry, how about an IS350 wannabe instead?
LS8? Sorry, how about a Fusion in a poorly-fitted tux?
Hey, somebody's got to try to make Acura look good.

I cannot be held responsible for these making it into the Book of Faces, the Twitterverse, or the general cesspool of the Intarwebs.
