Hi, my Company has made arrangements with various factories to produce High Quality OEM exceeding parts for Nissan / Infiniti cars, one of the many goodies I have to sell are Brake Kits, I am looking for testers for it (performance wise), there are only 15 spots available to get these at a special Discounted "Tester's price", the names you see on the parts are a place holder for my company's name just so I can see what they look like.

BRAKES

You have options of Rotor Thickness, drilled, Slotted, Wavy, or all 3, and plain, it is a 2 piece rotor, 6 piston calipers. Kit includes full assembly including brackets.

Couple of questions:

1) Have you spoken with the admins about becoming a vendor? Your username isn't familiar, so I don't know if you've already been setup. If you have not, this needs to happen before I can leave this post up.
2) PM me a 'testers' price shipped to 12158
3) What else are you able to produce or do produce for the Y51 M chasis? Specifically the V8 M56x variant (we get virtually NO LOVE from the after market).

This is exciting news though, awesome! If the price is right and you are approved to sell, you have piqued my interest.

If sport model, rear 2 piston wouldn't be too bad to keep. Of course 4 would be nice. I wonder at that point would you have to change the brake master cylinder out for a bigger one or is ours sufficient enough? Anybody know?

I like the wavy design. My wife's car has those and they supposedly save weight, 20% if I remember correctly. When I read the weight savings I was very surprised by the figure. But then again, it is an Audi and we all know how trustworthy their VW brethren are...

The website is being developed (by me) and that will make it a lot easier to pay, but for now i'll give you my company's address for you to submit a payment through paypal where the buyer is also insured

What I'm Looking for:
- ease of installation
- stopping distance from 85mph, 65mph, 55pmh, 45mph, and 30mph
- how long it takes to wear out the pads completely and the conditions you drove in. (minimum pad thickness is the same as what is listed in your fsm)
- precise rotor thickness after brake pads are used up
- and your overall thoughts on the brake kit.

All brake kits are assembled to order to ensure quality and customer satisfaction of a team of skilled master machinists putting together your order.

Disk size to choose from:
286mm, 304mm, 330mm , 356mm, 380mm, & 405mm

Disk specs to choose from for 2 piece rotors (with hats):
Plain, drilled, Slotted, Wavy, Drilled & Slotted, Drilled & wavy, Slotted & wavy, plain & wavy, or Drilled Slotted & wavy

Price is $2000 for all 4, includes shipping, NICO members get 15% off, Tester's price is $1475
All testers will get 25% off on carbon ceramic rotors + pads, and upgraded Brake master cylinder and additional 15% off for testing those.

Sincerely & Respectfully

BELLEZA MOTORS, website is under development

Thanks for the PM. I appreciate the info.

Bit too rich for my blood at the moment (first thing to buy for me is BC's in the new year and maybe later in the spring I'll be able to get to my brakes) although it is on par with other BBK's that are out there like Akebono, etc. Is the $1,500 good for testing for a while or a limited time offer? Is the 15% NICO discount good in perpetuity or for a limited time? Is this just for fronts or rears as well?

Also, you mentioned the MC. Does this kit require a bigger MC or will it work with the stock stuff and all we need to change is the rotors/calipers/pads?

The kit does not require a bigger master cylinder, it will just be an optional "Add-on", it will work with stock stuff, the kit contains 4 calipers and brackets for them, 4 - 2 piece rotors with hats + pads, 4 performance brake lines. $1475 is good until the 15 spots are filled up, the NICO 15% off discount in perpetuity. will be gone for the holidays, will be back on the 27th.

Looks like cool stuff. A couple of things to add for those that aren't aware; carbon ceramic rotors can't be machined, so while rotor thickness is obviously important, rotor life is done by weight. 2nd is more of a question; before someone drops big money, will they clear factory wheels? Sure doesn't look like it. If not, what's the offset/back spacing and rim size that would be required. Just trying to save somebody the headache of buying this stuff and running into fittment issues.

6 piston front and rear? You're adding an additional 18 pistons and no master cylinder upgrade is required? Sounds fishy. Does your optional upgraded master cylinder come with a fluid level sensor?

Ya, there's a lot of unanswered questions that are kind of important before someone will drop that kind of money I'm sure.

OP has disappeared (hasn't logged in since Christmas day), which is par for the course with most 'companies' who try to create parts for the Y51 chasis. The only 'small business' that I know of who has actually made a part for us is TollBoothWilley with his shields.

Still keep an eye on this thread, but I'm honestly not sure of the likelihood that this ever goes anywhere.

If you want to go BBK, the oem option will be more than enough for daily duties and occasional track use. You will be ensured fitment, and because it's already off the car, you can have it cleaned up and powdercoated nicely if you want a sparkly shiny new package. Will also be less expensive as well. Just my 2 cents.

Interested in this.

Correct me if I'm wrong but part of the reason for disappearance of OP's on this board is because, by default, the user profiles are not set to subscribe to the topic automatically after posting a reply. At least that was my experience after I created my account, don't know if that has changed. Maybe if we change the default to "subscribe to topic of after reply" we could reduce the amount of disappearances.

That is correct, that isn't the default setting, and honestly (especially on this forum where we don't have that many posts) I've never subscribed. However, if I was trying to gather interest for my business I'd make it a point to check in once day at least and just go to the main section to see if my thread had a new post.

As a moderator, I log in here 20-30 times a day to make sure this place didn't blow up :P. You guys are all adults and make my job easy, but the OP needs to be more diligent if he wishes to actually get peoples' business.

It's been a while since he posted...my guess is this, like most mods for these cars, will not come to fruition. I've been around the M forums (this one and the Y50 one) a long time now...seen this happen many times.

Back to the setting: I understand it would be useful for people who only post a couple of times a month/year...but this would be killer for the admin staff as we post in almost every single thread. Same for some of our more active members like Debonair, etc.

True, but in my experience in other boards, once you subscribe the default setting is to automatically subscribe to the topic with a reply. That way the people who have little to no experience in a forum are able to be updated on the activity of the topic they replied to. It also helps keep the board more active and the users engaged in other topics/threads as well.

Same here seen it happen on other platforms as well, but I still think we could minimize the disappearance of OP's if we could make the subscribe feature active by default on our boards. Users can always unsubscribe from the topic using the link that is provided on the email they receive.

Hey I'm pretty active too :chuckle: Granted, up until recently is that have become more active, but hey I have been a member for a while now and the fact that I was able to remember my original username must count for something  lol
Again there is a unsubscribe link on the email that is sent out and the user also has the option to turn the feature OFF in their Control Panel.

P.S You are doing a great job keeping the board organized and in peace

I understand what you're saying and I will pass on your suggestion to the powers that be...but do you know how many emails I would receive since I post in nearly every thread (often times with just a welcome to the forum message)? It would be insane. I have no interest in spamming myself lol. I doubt that setting will be changed...but I'll pass it along.

Just get a basic "EBay" kit...they're fine for daily driving unless you abuse your brakes daily? This guy hasn't posted in a long time...it's as good as dead.

I have the Stillen drilled and slotted rotors on non-sport calipers. I drive aggressively and they work great for me. The factory rotors warp way to quickly if you have an aggressive driving style.
