I am seriously considering this exhaust for my SR swap but as I was looking around google.. I ran into one of Honda guys complaining about this exhaust. He liked the sound but his piping and muffler rusted to crap after a year...

Did this happen to anyone else?

If it's not stainless, it'll rust. Eventually.

Believe me I was really considering BRM but for what I wanted, SS, resonator, dual tip (not a fan of canister mufflers) and plus shipping, its a bit over my price range... (so sorry greg... )

RS*R Ex-Mag is SS but uses SUS409 which I hear is a lesser quality than what other brands use so it wont last longer. Ex-Mag is quite, no canister, and "SS" and I can get one for 530 shipped. Im just worried about SS quality of it.

then its only 45 more for a brm (i got exactly what you want, just for s13, $575 shipped)

i was looking at the rs*r as well but i heard a clip of the brm and had to have it

ill never regret it, how many things do you do to your car that you can say that about right?

yup, you get what you pay for. especialy in the north, rust becomes an issue big time.

SS 3" piping + dual tip + resonator + shipping

460 + 30 + 70 + 45 = 605. Its about 75 dollar difference. ITS SO TEMPTING TO BUY BRM.... dang it.

Im so tight on budget right now esp with 3rd anniv coming up and flying to NY.... *sigh*

EDIT: how big of a difference would it make w/o a resonator? If I could save 70 bucks that way... my GF always complains how my car is loud and she thinks cars that are super quite at part throttle but super loud at WOT is super sexy...

Mine hasnt rusted. I dont think its SS though, the whole thing is powdercoated. No regrets here.

Pretty sure the Ex-Mag is not SS at all. Not even the muffler. Maybe just the tip? Piping is definitely not SS... but "ceramic coated".

i was thinking 2.5", forgot you got boostercized...yeah well if you get rid of the resonator itll make it loud loud, but thats your call...cops will probably come then though

2.5" would be ok, youre still running the stock t25 on your sr right? probably wont be overloading a 2.5 at that point...but then the extra 30 bucks might be worth it just for when you do up the ante with the turbo and other parts

unfortunately Im just gathering parts for the swap. I have the SR sitting in my friends garage... just waiting to go to MI to swap it in. Yeah.. Ill be running T25 for a while.

Damn I think im just going to save up pennies.. sell my body... beg on the streets.. to get the BRM.
