for those with autos

what shifter assably did you use how did you wire the auto computer in? did you wire anything? how dose it feel?

i used the stock 240sx shifter assembly and used the original KA auto ECU. Didnt really have to wire anything different. Really i just followed the wiring diagram plans for the engine swap and plugged in all the plugs and it worked!

The only problem is i get an auto ecu error code 55 and it doesnt downshift if i floor it. Usually on most automatic cars when you floor it, it changes shift points and downshifts. Mine doesnt do this. I think you have to use the skyline auto transmission computer and hook it up but right now it works fine. It shifts great...i just manually shift when im racing.

It shifts at about 3-4,000rpm in Drive, about 4,500rpm if i floor it. and it does drop down a gear when going down hill to slow the car down.

code 55 means nothing is wrong with the computer system it looks at!!!!!
