Hi all, I am from australia and have built my own S13 silvia. I have owned it since 2000 and have progressively modified in the past 8 years... Although I am new to this forum I have been a member of others for many years and have made a few friends through mutual interest.

I have also had a lot of help from people on forums, those of whom are highly technical in the CA field, however I have also learned through 8 years of experience... Here are some photos on what I have achieved so far, I have had to pull the motor out since these photos were taken for a unexpected rebuild..

80% of this I built in the garage at home (I have no trade certification either, just the love of my hobby ), the only things I could not perform were those that I did not have the tools for, the body was co-built by a panelbeater, however I spent many nights sanding and prepping the body at his workshop..

Currently there are a few things happening at the moment, engine bay is being prepped for painting while the motor is being engineered, fibreglassing and upholstery for my ICE system will be completed at the same time, I have designed the ice to be removed within 5 minutes for track events if required..

Man I have a lot of work to do in the next 8 weeks...

Thanks mate, yeah a lot of blood, sweat and tears went into this build.

There are a couple of minor cosmetic changes that I would like to do shortly, mainly highlighting the bonnet vents. The car sits lower in the back and the front than that photo, as I swapped to Tein HA's...

Im still waiting on bits and pieces to turn up from the US and Japan for the rebuild, hopefully it will all be here shortly...

Yeah it is airconditioning duct pipe, it lasted for a while but heat got to it in the end.

As the AFM will be swapped to the cold side of the intercooler pipework, the pod filter will hang off the turbo, however that turbo is being swapped out for a different setup...

I will hopefully be spraying the engine bay tomorrow - (its 11pm and i am still at work) but there is still some prep work to do...

I am also removing the ugly pipework, it is really hideous I have no idea what i was doing with that... and the wing is being swapped out for something different, it doesnt suit the style anymore...

Engine bay painted... Not too shabby for my second go at it I thought, well I was pleased with it, not a show finish but neat...
