For those who have installed Q45 Phase II injectors

My big parts order from IOS is supposed to come in tomorrow sometime, so I'll finally be able to get my injectors bolted into the rails. The insulators that came with the injectors have a metal washer-like piece molded into one end of the insulator. Does the metal end go up facing the metal hold-down cap, or down facing the injector? I don't recall replacing these insulators with Phase I injectors... or maybe I should have but didn't.

Here's a picture I swiped off of eBay... the insulator is at the bottom.

Never mind... I had previously checked the '95 FSM, which didn't say. I just checked the '96 FSM, and it specifies that the metal plate faces down.

Interesting side note... the '96 FSM is the first year that specifies lubricating the o-rings with "a smear of engine oil"
