With the extension, is the filter still inside the engine bay, or is it down by where the stock air box used to be? I ask this because I extended my old CAI down where the old air box was, and on a rainy night on the highway, I almost had hydrolock. I had to take it off, no way I would risk that again. Is there a bypass valve with the Injen intake? Have any of you had hydrolock with it, or almost had it? Does anyone have pics of where the filter is located with the extension? Thanks.

I never had it down there but I know a lot of people do that. THere is a bypas valve that you can pick up at a lot of stores that will help it from getting hydro locked.

I would just leave the filter in the engine bay and rig up some duct work from the bumper to the filter for some cool air

i have the extension, the filter is down by my fog lite, just to the rite and facing out. i have driven thru sum deep puddles, no hydrolock. ive been on the freeway when it was hella raining, nuthin. and injen doesnt have a bypass valve. the filter wont suck up water unless its completely submerged.
