I found out that my passenger side brake caliper seal was leaking so I thought this was a good chance to swap over to the Q45 brake upgrade. I did the swap, but they don't feel as good as the stock did when I installed Stainless steel braided lines. Feels like I need to pump the brakes atleast 2 time before it feels firm. Could this be due to the Master brake cylinder? or could this be a bleeding error? of course the pads are not even broken in yet so that could also be the problem?

re bleed the system,I assume your have rear discs? if you didnt you could adjust the rear shoes they could possibly be out of adjustment. Also you need to properly burnish the new pads in to get proper pedal feel. you do this by doing a couple of hard brake applications from 60 mph to approx 5 mph allowing the brakes to cool between applications by driving with out a brake application for about a quarter mile between each application. do this 2 or 3 times then park the car for awhile to let them completely cool down. Recheck the feel after that.
