I'm looking at doing some exhaust repair when i get my tax check.

My initial estimate from CarX to make new front pipes was $250. (I'm shopping around to other places also, they are just on my way home from work)

They also said there were some rust holes starting on the cats. They wanted $250/cat additional to replace them if I wanted to.

So my question to all of you is....what did you pay for your cats w/o labor?

IIRC high flow cats are only about $80 or so on ebay.

If you are getting the exhaust redone, get the cats redone too. When I had my exhaust done one of the cats had almost no material left in it and the other had about half.

You take emission test up there ??This is a quote from the auction.

# THE CAT IS A STRAIGHT THRU DESIGN, FOR OFF ROAD USE ONLY# This will not pass your emissions if you use it as a catalytic converter#Please check with your local state law before you purchase it

go for it if you want it soon...I have to wait about a month for my tax check before I can purchase anything.

I'm sure there will be more to get. Looked like EBay had a bunch in that price range.

Good seller, I've actually bought stuff from him in the past. That's the exact product that I have replacing my cats. I believe that's also who I got my underdrive pulley from.

BUT, that's not a high flow cat. That's a resonator. You will not pass emissions test with those.

Ok lil short dude,

I clicked on reply and typed half of my response right after he posted the original post. I didn't get to finish right away as I had a customer walk in. By the time I did post, you 2 had posted several things inbetween.

So there!

BTW, you put that underdrive pulley on yet?
