I am upgrading my fuel system to ID1000's and dual bosch pumps. I am currently running a single entry -8 feed with a -6 return. With the elevated fuel and pressure I am going to be running, I am going to be switching to a dual entry setup. My fuel rail only has a 1/8" NPT fitting in the center. My question for those running dual entry setups is what fitting type do you have for the return at the center of the rail? The 1/8" NPT seems way too small, so I was thinking about drilling and tapping it out for either a -6 or -8 connection back to the regulator.

I will be running both pumps continuously as I don't trust the operation of one pump to a hobbs switch. I suppose I could just hook up the return from the center of the rail with the 1/8" NPT fitting and see if I can keep my fuel pressure low enough at idle, but I would rather make the changes necessary before I install everything.

I drilled and tapped for a 3/8" x -6 male adapter fitting. From there I run -6AN to the regulator. I am running two -6 feeds to each end of the rail. I couldn't actually get the return fitting to work between intake runners #3 and #4 so I went between #4 and #5. There's a weird coolant passage bump out on the Greddy IM that interferes.

What are you running for fuel pumps?
