how do you like it? tire rack has it for about 200 so it seems like a good deal.

How careful do youhave to be when going over speedbumps, hitting dips and parking curbs.

stock + eibach is not too bad and takes a lot to scrape, but throw in a lower bodykit and you have to be very careful.

Would it be best to wait to drop it when I get my wheels? Or is it no biggie if I drop it on stock wheels? Someone had told me that I should wait on the springs because it depends on the wheels. But it seems like with Eibach theres tons of wheels options that match up fine.

Also, depending on what wheels/tires you get, you could adjust the heght of your vehicle by an extra 1/2 inch

por ejemplo,

245/35/19 tires are 1 inch smaller in diameter than 245/35/20 tires... so , although the sidewalls are the same size, the diameter itself is smaller, thus your car sits 1/2 inch lower in 245/35/19 tires than in 245/35/20

that 1/2 is enough to create or prevent scrapes when going over even average speed bumps!

Don't buy it off tire rack though. There is going to be a group buy through stillen witch could be under $200 and stillen is a much better company to buy things from.

Did you ever find out if its better to wait to drop after getting wheels??? I feel like it really wouldnt matter but thats a guess.

Nope..havn't gotten an answer yet. I'm going to buy the springs from the Stillen group buy and if I must wait to get wheels then I will, but i'd rather not. I probably can't afford any wheels until next year.

it doesnt make a difference to put them on before or after you get new wheels. It would probably even be better to drop it before you get new wheels. That way you know for sure that they fit, before you use the new tires and wheels and can't return them. That would be alot better than putting your new tires and wheels on, only to find out after you have used them that you can no longer lower your car.

It is very unlikely that what ever tires and wheels you pick wont work with the eibach kit. There are a few guys on hear that have 245/35/20s with the pro kit, and none of them have had any problems.

Like rjdmmfl1 (doc) said, larger wheels = more ground clearance! However, the larger wheels you go, the more chance you have of rubbing.

Here is an example with 19" wheels/tires:

The stock radius of the 3.5 is 215/55/17s which equals a radius of 334.01 mm.

New Tire Size / Radius in mm / mm difference in height off the ground from stock235/35R19 / 323.34 mm / -10.67 mm difference / -3.2%235/40R19 / 335.28 mm / +1.27 mm difference / +0.3%245/35R19 / 326.89 mm / -7.12 mm difference / -2.1%245/40R19 / 339.09 mm / +5.08 mm difference / +1.5%

You don't want anything + or - 3% over factory specs. So you would not want to go with the 235/35R19. Any others of the above would be fine, but the larger the tire, the longer it will take you to stop the vehicle. Getting larger wheels will throw off your speedometer since it counts rotates and thinks the tires you have are still stock. So, with larger tires, your speedometer will read 60mph but you'll only be doing 58mph (depends on size).

I am currently running 245/40ZR19s with a +30 offset. Although my wheels look aggressive due to them sticking out from the wheel wells a tad bit, when I hit large bumps I got a tad bit of rubbing. Any offset is ok, just watch out for rubbing. With the Eibach drop and my setup I was rubbing a tad bit in the rear. To alleviate this I could either get new wheels that are +45 offset to keep the wheels in the wheel well so they won't rub or smaller profile tires or (what I did since it's cheaper) remove the rear Eibach springs and re-install the OEM springs. Note that it is illegal in the USA to have wheels that stick outside of the wheel well, but most cops don't bust you for it-- just be aware that if you do this you will not pass inspection at a dealership. Just like tint, take your car to a shop you trust and have them pass you. Most shops don't mind.

Eventually, when my 245/40ZR19s wear out I will probably go with a smaller profile tire like what adidas2go is running-- 235/35ZR19s or so.

Just some info so folks don't make the same mistake I did.
