Verizon has released a Windows Mobile 2003 update for the Samsung PDAphone (SCH-i730) that should work better than the older release of the software. It supposedly has better Bluetooth capability (uses version 1.1 rather than 1.0) and may integrate with the 2006 M much better than before ... including better integration with Bluetooth headsets, I think!

I no longer have access to a 2006 M with bluetooth, so I cannot check this out, but if any 2006 M owner is using this phone, please do update your phone and try it out!

This is an upgrade of the radio only from YE05 to YH25.

There is an unoffical release of VZW WM5 in the wild.

Official WM5 release is rumored to be June 23. As a side note, the radio upgrade bundled with WM5 precludes USB tethering .

Don't have an Y50, but do have WM5 on my SCH-i730 and it rocks.

Cool, I will try WM5 out when it is released - I have not seen the out in the wild one (not that I went looking per se)!

FWIW, I did not realize that there was another one in the works - the YH25 release was in early May, after a long interval from the YE25 release!
