I purposely waited until today to post this so you wouldn't think it was an April's fool joke. As several of you know, last year on April Fool's Day Greg posted a thread announcing we were going to get married.

zer...age=1

All skepticism aside, there were lots of people who wished they could come to the wedding. Considering the time frame, there was just NO way that we could organize a big event that everyone could come to. Ryan (93 coupe) was also dead set on getting to marry us and was upset when he didn't get to.

The wedding was perfect. It was simple and beautiful, just the two of us and our kids. It was the perfect arrangement to blend our two families without a lot of mayhem and chaos.

Fast forward a year later and the mindset has shifted. The family is solid and the more mayhem and chaos, the better. So, we thought we would do a little something so everyone could participate. I talked to Ryan this morning and he has graciously agreed to officiate a vow-renewal ceremony at Carlisle this year!!!

I don't have any details at the moment, just a cool idea. It won't be anything fancy but I wanted to give everyone a chance to celebrate since there never was a big wedding or reception. I hope lots of people get to make the trip, it's be awesome to have a second wedding album!

This is so much WIN it's not even funny, now I have to try to make it up there after my written test for the Philly PD on Sat. morning. Oh and for those of you coming down to meet Greg and Becky at the airport if all goes well I'll be leading a caravan to Tony Lukes in South Philly so you all can get a decent cheese steak, Italian sausage hoagie, or a roast beef sandwich that will make your panties wet. I'm also hoping to show the LC some of the sights (Rocky Statue) before Greg and Becky's plane land.

Brilliant idea! One agnostic reverend reporting for duty. This is so awesome and I can't wait.

What to wear, what to wear. The last wedding I did, I was in flip flops. I might need to step it up this time.

Ladies and gentleman...we are gathered here today...to...errr...well...let's party! (vision of slammed vert going around track with "just married" on deck lid, and cans tied to back). This could be fun.

Great idea

Yep, you'll need closed shoes to drive on the track, though we might let high heels pass in your case.

You know what's funny, I live like 45 minutes away from you and I've never met you. I mean there's like what maybe 4 people on here from DE, and it's not like it's a large state. Even when I was living with my sister in Claymont I was all of 5 minutes away. Weird.

Sweeet...looking forward to it.

Just make sure it's Saturday night though and not Friday. My flight doesn't get in until after 11pm Friday night.

Awesome!! I'd love to be a part of this LMK on the dress code...I would not mind bringing a full suit to Carlisle. Hell, I'll even autox in said suit if Steve will still let me in his 240.
