I spoke with clutchmasters and this is that they told me ...

ME: I was wondering if your company had any intentions in designing an aftermarket clutch kit/performance clutch kit for the Nissan Altima coupe?

CM: hello, we do offer a clutch kit ! i would suggest our fx300 kit part# 06-052-hdtz price$ 710.00.

ME: (after looking up the part and seeing its for the G35/350Z) So even though the 350z/G35 are RWD vehicles and the Altima is FWD they share the same transmission and there won't be any issues in using this clutch with it?? Also does that include a flywheel or just the clutch?

CM: its the same, but use a different flywheel and this time we don't have it available.

Can anyone vouch this is accurate?? that its the same transmission? I posted it in the drivetrain as well but thought since it was more relevant to the altima coupe I would post the actual back and forth emails here.

I would make damn sure they aren't referring to the 3rd gen altima which the clutch kit is interchangeable but it uses a different alignment since the altima is FWD.

If that was the case we could use the 3rd gen clutch kits, but it is a different transmission.

I checked with my shop, and was told there is a very strong possibility that they share the same clutch. so I am starting to believe this maybe true.
