I know that there were a few people that were interested in my HID project, and if you were one of them, please feel free to e-mail me at [email protected]

and here is why what all you other people are doing is illegal!!!

http://youtube.com/watch?v=yVuSSdZNsZw

That is the difference between me and the other people on this forum who have already thrown HID's in their headlamps, atleast the HID's I have are legal and approved, although not legal to have in my headlamps, I am one step ahead of the game, and can go get my lights legally approved.

BTW I know there are a few people on this board with aftermarket HID's in their headlamps, if one of you could be kind and to take a pic of the beam pattern at about 100 feet away and post it on here, I would really appreciate it so that everyone here can see the difference of the set-ups.

This is a pic of the same projectors that I am going to use which they put into a motorcycle (note that this is only one projector while I will have two). If you notice that the beam is very wide, has a very straight and sharp cut off as to not blind others, and does not have "hot spots" meaning that there are no big blobs of bright light on the floor.

This topic was created for those interested in the project and it's progress. I would like to remind others of one of the forum rules:

"3) Flaming, bashing or trolling. A good rule of thumb here is, "if you don't have anything nice / constructive to say, don't say anything." NICO prides itself on being a safe place for all people (newbies and veterans) to learn and share a common interest. "

If you are really that concerned about it, talk to your local state legislature, and take it to a nationaly level, but don't bash me because you don't have the time, money, and knowledge that I do to do customization of this type. I am not, and show no attitude as being better than everyone, and if you think that, than I feel sorry for you. A mod is not protecting me, he was stating a fact, a fact that this thread is for those who are interested in my work, and not for those who do not care for this project. I am sure Proxim will not be too happy with your comment either once he sees it, but we will find out when he gets on.

dudes just need to chill. i hate how everything on here always turns into an argument over whats right and whats wrong...i think we are all old enough to realize that people are different and are in to different things. if somebody wants to do something to THEIR car then let them. it is THEIRS in the first place. its not your car so why do you care?

just my opinion.

thats just it i dont care what he does to make his car more of a danger. its that he goes on about how all the other people with aftermarket HIDs are illegal. but his are going to be legal somehow. he seems to put this attitude out that everything he does is perfection and all others are just below his standards.

not really. more annoying if anything its like every thread some one did something wrong and some one has to to tell them where there flaws are. If some one messed up tell them in a nice way try not to argue with other people. just like idunno22221 said its HIS car so let HIM do what he wishes to it. my 2 cents.

agreed, I only give my opinion in a nice way, although there are times my opinion is in a rude, or mistakenly rude manner. I do not see where seay1b1s' thread bash is getting her, she acts as if it is making a difference when it doesn't. I think she messed up on her age when she put 32, because I act more mature than her!!!

... wow... do Proxim and I have to stay logged in 24 hours a day?

Clipsed, CodeRed, et. al - Pointing out that you are "Acting more mature" about it and then continuing to point it out reply after reply kind of defeats the purpose. I give you points for starting the thread off well, but that little exchange near the end was very pointless.

Seay - Proxim was not "defending" Clipsed, he was reiterating NICO rules. a moderator will frequently do this if we reopen a controversial thread, as a way of setting guidelines. You were doing a lot of poking in this thread..

Everyone - please stay on topic with Clipsed's project. If someone has concrete evidence of a flaw in this project, presenting it in a logical, reasoned format would be welcomed. However, in this thread and the last one, we have beat to death the reasons that some people are opposed to this project. No point in beating it any further.

Consider this everyone's first and only warning on this topic.

clipsed, even though u completely bashed my lights i will help show your point as why yours are better. I know this is a bad pic, but u can see the scattered beam. Still better than stock but insanely terrible for everyone else on the road, sorry.
