Im thinking about buying a 2008 G37S. I havent made it to a dealership yet but I was wondering how much room is inside of them. I'm 6'4" and 240lbs and I'm worried I might be too big for it. Any tall guys out there own one? Thanks for the time.

Shouldn't be an issue.

Make sure you try the one without the sunroof if the one with it too small. Since the design on the G is in the roof not going on the top when it opens it takes up some room.

I'm around the same size...not quite as tall. The only issue I have is with the sport seats...but they are getting better.

i'm 6'5" and just weigh slightly less. Since you have not driven the car, drive both the sedan and coupoe. I was surprised how much room was in the coupe. I bought the sedan though. also i have an 08 g35. its not a sport, so the seats are probabaly different. i have plenty of room. it will really depend on your posture. i have plenty of room though.

I wanted an "S" in the worse way when I leased my 2010 X sedan. I test drove one for 45 minutes and was NOT comfortable in the S seats. They are narrower than the regular buckets. I'm 6'2" and 235 and my arse was just too big for the S seats. My suggestion is to test drive it for a decent amount of time. Your hips will tell you the answer...

I agree with the comments about the S seats. Pretty tight in the seat and back. I'm about 6'2" but not too wide - and the seats are quite snug.

For the most headroom, I ended up with a (2010) convertible. No, I don't mean when the roof is open :chuckle: Without a sunroof, and a slightly "rounded" shape, the convertible had more headroom for me than a couple or a sedan.

I'm 6'3" and 290. Seats are fine for me. havent had a problem with them. The ceiling clearance is fine as well. You can drop the seat for more head room as well.

I am 6'5" and about the same weight. I just bought a 2008 G37S Coupe about a month ago. Probably should have bought a non-sport, but really wanted some of the features included in the Sport model. I would agree with other posts that suggest taking a longer test drive. Wish I would have done that.

After a minor seat back mod, the Sport seats fit pretty well now. Very much improved in the amount of room I have for my back. In case you didn't see my post on this, you may want to check it out.

Hey Welcome Odie1302!

The seats are adjustable up and down in the coupe. I find the sedan has less room then the coupe in the driver/pass cabin. I also have a sunroof model, and the inside is very spaceous. Yes you will be big in this car, But I think you'll find plenty of room for yourself.

I'm about 2 inches shorter than you, but I will say that in a sedan, I have about 2 inches of headroom. Considering that your legs are a lot of your height, you should fit. I think there is even more room on the coupe. I also like to side fairly straight (not too reclined) so if you recline a lot, then you'll have even more room. The only thing I'd worry about, like everyone else is saying are the sport seats. I'm a 33" waist and it's a snug fit for me. You might be slightly too large for the bolsters.

I'm 6'2", 210 and got an 08 sedan without the sunroof. With a sunroof my head was rubbing the edge of the sunroof. But I have a long torso and short legs, most tall guys are all legs. So it all depends...

But I'm glad I don't have a sunroof, I've got at least 3" of extra headroom. I was claustrophobic all the time in my old '92 Q45 since my head grazed the top, esp hitting bumps and around curves.

But VERY hard to find one without a sunroof used. Probably have to special order new.
