Rex doesn't have the Q any more. The NOS one is now Fred's and the S/C'ed one is on its way to a new home in sunny AZ. :)

Ask him what the R33 is running! :D

well SpeedDoc, it's nice to learn about you. I got into NICO because I work with Daedalus in LA when he heard I had ordered my dream car (and yours) a 1996 R33 Skyline GTR. it is at Mwrex right now getting some work done and completing the legalization process. I LOVE THIS CAR!!!! and yours is quite a nice specimen as well.

I LOVE your roadster, I saw one in Japan when Iwas there in september. I was in Gion checking out some shrines and was walking through the part where the te houses are and a guy left his garage door open.. with several pots of gold inside and the roadster was one of them.. I couldn't resist and trespassed into his garage and started snapping away and left before he came back outside :-)

Rex, great to see you haven't forgotten us ;)

As usual, I'm in complete awe at everything you have done and are still doing. If at all possible, I would like to put up a blow-up matress in your garage just so I can live with that amazing collection you have.

PLEASE?!?!

LOL - I've been in the fabled garage, and trust me - There's absolutely NO room for a blow-up mattress. That place is PACKED!!!

It took us 20 minutes of rearranging to get the roadster out! :D

gsxtasee: Do you have R33 pics? what has been done to it? I wish I could see the cars in Japan that you have seen! I am glad to hear there are so many roadster lovers...they are cool and they put Datsun on the map! I would really like to have two more roadsters. one for vintage racing, (a 2000) and one that I could do a CA-18 turbo swap. :D

silviase: I like the looks of your car! wheels look great!

The front end on the green minivan is fixed...wife has a 99 quest now and I love the green minivan (165,000 miles) for taking the kids to school and carrying all of my stuff for work and to my lectures.

Regarding garages, I need a big one...nothing fancy, just big! :help

Finally, I know why ya'll want to sleep over....you all heard about my wife's spaghetti!!! SD

Hey man, as soon as you get over here and help me replumb the house, rototill the back yard, install sprinklers for 3500 sq ft of grass, drywall a room, reframe the garage entrance, build and install cabinetry, and knock down a wall, I'll get right on it.

Nistech: I know what poster you speak of....my son has it over his bed....I have another in my office. btw, i saw your post on the mag idea.... many other marque based clubs have a magazine..... a few yerars ago I was working with the group that publishes another successful marque based mag....I wanted the first copy to come out before the new Z and I wanted it to feature the new Z as well as the old...It was to be for both Nissan and Infiniti products...numerous calls were made to various execs at Nissan...most responses were very lame..the best was when the Infiniti folks said they didn't want to be in the same magazine with Nissans..that was the iceing on the cake..we gave up..hopefully our growth and changes at NNA may result in revisiting this....Nistech...thanks for the great work you have done...SD ;)

That "mentality" is still very much in place at NNA more so then it was 5 yrs ago. I was in tech school about a year or so ago. Do you notice anything different about the 2 line ups now verses a couple years ago? Other then the Qx56 they do not share any cars that are the same any longer. The G35 and the Z is the only other model thats close. Any how that exact subject was brought up by the instructer. He stated Infiniti had decided they were not going to have any more cross over models like the I and the max. They strive even more today to become seperated from Nissan.

I to wish they would merge it a bit since we get alot of infiniti owners in our shop for repairs to their infiniti products. Unfortunitly when we need parts we cant look them up on our parts system since they are seperated so its as if we are working on a dodge we have to call the respective dealer and inquire about parts. More recently we have found more and more part numbers dont cross over so we have to order them from the infiniti dealer.

Food for thought I guess.

I enjoy working with your creation most of the members and the mod staff are great people. some times like family, you gotta take a look at your partners picture stacey put up of him and the little one. This site has such a personal touch to it compared to others out there. Awesome work!!

I have it rolled up somewhere here around the house maybe I will snap a shot of it and post it. If I can find it. It is a photo of many years of nissans/datsuns spread around in a garage that looks alot like an antique shop. VERY COOL.

Well I can understand infiniti's quest for indivuality, but I too agree that there should be more unity. They are all Nissans and without Nissan, Infiniti probably wouldnt exist.

On another note Im glad the I/Maxima crossover in over. Could you imagine a car similar to the Max in infiniti's line up? YUK!!!
