Well i told you guys i would post pics of my setup so here you go. Your going to have to excuse the mess because i wasn't worried so much about what it looked like just more of lets get this thing to run. In one of the pics you can see what i did to get my oil feed line to run from the block so for you guys confused.. there ya go.

Also, what do you guys think of dee's custom manifold?

I'm digging the valve cover. The mani looks nice too, how much does Dee let them go for?

Yeah the valve cover was a horrible attempt at polishing. We gave up after a while and just finished it to look alright. I got my mani for $550 but it was the 2nd one made so im not sure what hes letting them go for now. Dee?

Nice man doesnt look real messy, did u take the pics in your garage or something. If this greddy kit is too much of a hassle (when i finally get the motor in) I'll sell it and look into getting something similar to yours.

Looks good, I don't personally like dee's custom manifold but i have to give him credit on his CA knowledge!

Well I don't think he actually made it, he just knows a local (to him) company that made it for him. It's better than stock, it will bolt up a T3 flange, and it's relativly cheap. I know we all want equal length, but that's some dinaro....

They are done by a friend who owns a 509whp KA24DET powered 240. He's not the best either, but he gets the job done and I think the price is decent for his workmanship. I appreciate anyone who can make that happen because it takes patience as well as equipment and knowledge. I'll just stick to wrenching and wiring as well as tuning and women:D (If my girl sees this I am so screwed). Oh yeah Nick, it looks fabulous man. If your car performs anything like the other guys with the CA powered 240 who's, manifold got made before yours, you'll be ecstatic.

What do they cost? I work at a fabrication facility and have the ability to get some awesome stuff made, (which i've stated here previously) and when my car is functioning I'm going to be making CA specific parts

Quote »dee need to talk to you about a mani..i know theres a wait on them i just need to get one ordered through you soon
Tim, send me an email and we'll get together and discuss your needs. The manifolds are getting made as we speak and if you want to get in on this, let me know soon. He's actually using my 240 as a template, so there's no big rush!

Quote »What do they cost?
They are $500 with or without external wastegate dump. I guess it's pretty cool if you can build your own manifold and the fact that you work at fabrication facility makes it even easier for you. But at $500 for a custom manifold, if you know anything about import cars, turbocharging and pricing, you'll know that you can't beat that price. Most importantly, it must be a functioning manifold as well. For the amount of labor put into these things, they are worth the wait and price.

my b, the only affordable turbo that is t25 type that i would externaly gate would be the disco potato. Maybe some highend BB turbos but if you going to get a new manifold, grow a pair and get a t3/t4. ;)

old tech, not bad tech just old. the modern bearing turbos beat them in every way but price, which is a BIG difference but don't suggest the T3/T4 is somehow more manly than a T25/T28 type.

I know. But for the practicle setup, its great. The t3/t4 just looks a lot bigger than the small t25's so in my mind, it has more balls :).
