sopdadope-i was checking out some old threads and i saw where you recommended a shop in lowell. i've got an early q for which i'd like to find a shop that's partly familiar with these cars--do you know the name and/or phone number? thanks.

Hey bud!

Before I recommend the shop, what's wrong with your Q? The shop I was referring to, is pretty knowledgeable when it comes to the Q engine. I had them do my chain guides and valve cover gasket.

BTW, I head out to Gloucester every so often to pick up lobsters. Great town!

sopdadope-it's the chain guides. i just bought the car--it's an early model year (as best i can guess) '93 to replace an old beat up '92. looks and runs great and has low miles (54k), so i'd like to get this out of the way and stop fretting. anyway, great to hear he's already done the guides before. did you bring him the parts or did you have him buy what he needed? yeah, gloucester's great, let me know if you swing by sometime--especially in the summer. saw your blizzard pic--man i can relate.

Gloucester Q, the shop I recommended moved. I'm trying to track down their current location, when I do, you'll be the first to know!
