Listen guys,

We do have a nice community of CA18DET lovers, but our local manufacturer support is well and below the radar. This company called "Cometic" makes metal gaskets for the SR20 and the KA24 as well as other nissan models, but nothing for the CA. Anyways, I figured that you guys would know where to go or who to talk to see if these folks can't be influenced to start marketing a gasket for the CA18. Here is contact for them: [email protected]

I'm also trying to get one made by Hussy. But I'll email Cometic and see if I can help too. Also, do you have a website....

They are a fairly new company, so we may be in luck if the right influence can influence them.

HKS, Tomei and Kameari all make gaskets for the CA.

The cometic ones for the DSM seem to be the hot ticket and are priced good. HKS and the others listed are good but there over twice the price of what a cometic would be.

I mean at $69, you can't go wrong. And I've seen 1st hand just how reliable their gaskets are: 30 psi on a KA24DE(T) 509whp, 30psi at the track=11.55@130mph with a very, very soft launch out the hole in a daily driven 240 (no A/C).

Well I got an email back today and he wasn't responsive to it at all. He said they basically don't do group buys, but that they make a lot of them. Here's the email....
