Nico,

You've heard it right... As promised we are selling our 2004 HCI Mag. Project Car/ Demo Car to make way for our 2005 project car...

This car will be featured in the 01/05 issue of HCI magazine, due in bookstores next week! Go get your copy and show your support!

So, somebody is going to get a magazine car for christmas!

I have thoroughly enjoyed working with our 18 corporate sponsors on this latest creation...

Most importantly, I wanna thank McKinney Motorsports for doing all the fabrication, motor swap, etc on the car... Without you guys, the industry wouldn't be what it is.. You are truly a one of a kind.

Also BF Goodrich for their support. Getting to have our car in your booth over 2004 has been a great experience, and I look forward to dealing with you in the future!

I want to thank all those that have followed the car and posted their support. Thanks NICO!

Bidding is going to start at $25K....

Not bad for a car that would easily cost over 75K to replicate due to time, testing, and fabrication expense/ labor that has gone into the build...

The car took 13 months to build...

To be frank, for every one person that says "Paint It", we've got 10 that absolutely love it...

It really is so much more amazing in person...

The two-tone color has kind of made the car unique, and I hope people will respect that...

To each is own...

Will it come with a hood? Cause I don't think I've ever seen that car with the hood on in any pics or movies.

This car is absolutely phenomenal in person.

The color has to be seen to be appreciated, and the sound... good God. Amazing.

This is definitely one of a kind, and whoever buys it will have instant credibility on any track, at any show, in any meet.

i have to agree, the car really looks break in person i remember seeing it down at Mckinney's shop before the swap and after and it's just insane. so much love and care went into that thing. and thumbs up on the two tone. my car is the little sister and im going with a two tone just in a different way. anyone that gets that car has to role with me, haha. Chris your the man. wish i could have driven it before you get rid of it but o well i got one of my own soon enough. good luck to all that go for it

So did you remove the JE pistons and Carillo rods that the HCI article claims are in the car... or what?

The pistons and rods were given to us, but havent been installed...

We listed them as a sponsor for their generousity...

When HCI wrote the article, they got the specs off our website, and assumed the rods and pistons were in the car since the companies were listed as a sponsor..

Like it says in the auction, I hope the car goes to someone who will truly appreciate it, not some kid with rich parents.

Beautiful work and goood luck with the auction.

The car will be traded next weekend going to a guy who saw the car on Ebay and made me a pretty fair deal on two of his cars....

Hopefully, he will come through and the trade with happen...

I pulled the auction off early...so we shall see....

Take care!

If that doesn't go through, i'll trade you my s-14 and my firstborn child he'll/she'll be hard working, I promise

I can't believe nobody even bid on it though, what 2 cars are offered for the trade? or would that give away the next project?

bought the HCI magazine to read the article and thought it didnt do the car justice. For being so rare and such an incrediable car overall the article lacked emphesis on details, there really wasn't specs, left me wanting to know more. I guess what i'm trying to say is they could have done a better job with the writing.

gluck w/ the new projects
