1. Yes, a coilover kit will replace the Eibach springs.chow wrote:I'm interested in the Eibachs but i have 2 questions about it before i purchase them...1) If i am to purchase a suspension set up, say coil overs, doesnt this replace the eibach springs as well?2) How long will shipping take to Conneticut? (I'm not sure the exact location i just need a timeline from CA to CT)
I won't be done for a while, most of my stuff will come in 2-4 months since SEMA is in November.rjdmmfl1 wrote:Loop, I wanna sneak peek at the progress... I'll try to head up to LA sometime over the next few weeks... can't wait to see the final product... couple questions though...
1. why get rid of the Springs? R U going with something else? if so what?
2. if your car is going in SEMA, what are you doing for your audio system?
3. Please tell me you are going to at least 19" wheels... 18" FTL 19" - 20" FTW
Oh yeah, one last thing... YOU ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE A SET OF ILLUMINATED KICK PLATES FOR YOUR CAR!!!!!!
I'll work out a pretty good deal with you, and I'll let you see the final product in person before you decide on them... I think some personalized illuminated kickplates will be just what the Dr. ordered... pun intended!!!
I understand what you're saying about SEMA, but you're not building your car just for SEMA.. you're hopefully going to enter the car in auto shows after SEMA. If that's the case, I didn't want you to half way do the audio setup now and then have to redo it for future shows. When you do a car show, on the judges sheet, there's an entire point section for audio / trunk, so you'll def have to get it done in the future if you want it competitive...I figured, since ED is sponsoring your car, that will make it easier for you to get audio sponsors because everyone is gonna want their name attached to your car! Your car is gonna be one of a kind for at least a few weeks (until ED releases their kit) ... you wanna take advantage of it and get it in as many shows as possible before everyone else starts grabbing ED kits....Loop wrote:Don't worry about it Rob. My sponsor cordinator(ED guy) has tons of connections in the industry. He has done wonders for me already and you will see once I am done in November.
Remember Rob this is SEMA. I will be under ED's name and promoting what they make. I will have a setup in the car, but nothing compared to yours. Right now its early and I have enough of time to organize my game plan with my guys. I don't need to worry about simple things right now.
whatever dude, do you, its your carLoop wrote:Thanks for the tip, but unfortunately I am not new to this.
I wasn't mentioning the audio stuff in regards to my car..my goals for my car are 98% met, and I am NOT going for a show car look, just a nice daily driver that is an extension of me and my love for audio/vieo systems... but with regards to you and yours, I understand your situation. But my point was, even for performance minded vehicles, every show car I've ever seen has had something done to the audio system. Even the Foxmarketing turbo charged car has some audio stuff done. You say you're not new to this, so you already know that, no matter what the rest of the car looks like (body kit, wheels, etc.) you still need an audio system to be a complete show car.Loop wrote:Sorry, I didn't feel like explaining myself Rob. But I can't say whether I will be attending future car show events after SEMA. A audio system/setup isn't important to me at the moment. I am on a $XXXX amount budget and I am using it wisely for SEMA to promote myself and ED and my other sponsors. It really depends how much aftermarket parts will be available for our cars that will determine my future show car events. Right now its very limited, but I have a few companies who are helping me out with that. I am more into the tuner/performance theme than the vip/bling theme. So when you look at my car and yours it will be completely the opposite.
As for updates, most of my stuff will come in a few months due to being shipped and made from other countries like my wheels and bodykit. Your not really going to see much updates from me. Basically its all going to happen right before SEMA in one package. I guess you can expect new wheels, tires, big brake kit, bodykit, coilovers, etc..
First week of November.mcheddadi wrote:So when is SEMA this year ?
