Lose the bra quickly because you will have scratches (or worse) if you do not.

Hope you looked under it before you bought it. Surely Dad knows better!

Nice car.

I have always loved Florida.

Why someone in there right mind would post a picture like that on the internet is beyond me. I have a Facebook account but I don't have single picture on there because I know what perverts do with them on the internet, Its not 1970-1990 anymore. How does the father of a daughter even allow this if thats really her picture????

Here is what PapaD wanted originally I assume:

1. Close all doors and lock all doors2. From the door switch unlock the trunk.3. Insert and remove the key from the ignition key cylinder six times within 10 seconds. NOTE: Key should be withdrawn from ignition key cylinder completely each time.NOTE: Do not rush the insertion/removal key cycling process. The side marker/tail/license lamps and interior illumination will flash twice when this step is accurately completed.NOTE: At this time, the new ID code is entered and original (previous) ID codes are erased.4. Manually unlock and lock the driver side door5. Push any button on the new remote controller once.If there is only one remote controller skip step 6.6. Additional ID code entry Repeat step 4 and 57. END.

I'm pretty sure none of those are "real pictures"

Gotta love her initiative at getting a quick response from a bunch of car guys though!

Assuming she doesn't have a spray on tan, I think the car's paint is what is at risk here.

None of the girls in that picture are 27, I am sure even in my advanced years.

Do you think they are younger, or older than 27?

Yes, we got it up on a rack and took a good close look at the underside and although there was some slight fluid leakage, nothing that would make it's way to the ground, just age type leakage is all and that will be dealt with in good time.

She has a cracked fan blade, something not uncommon to this car from what I could gather and that will be one of the first things fixed (81.00 for fan blade.)

For the other guys, no those weren't her pictures, she is way more girl next door than that and no, I would not advise anyone to post their picture these days, especially in skimpy clothing, lol.

Thanks for that, that is a concise set of instructions but I fear it isn't going to work however i will try a couple more times before giving up and sending it to the dealer.

My understanding is that after he disconnected the battery and replaced it, the key fob stopped working.

I even considered unplugging the ECU to clear it and see what happened because the dealer wants 50 bucks and she is poor right now, as am I since I was laid off from a job of 16 years so DIY is the way to go if we can.

no need to mess with the battery.don't sweat if it takes a few tries on the programming. once you get to the part of the 2-flashes you should complete easily.

Two things:

Be certain the key fob remote has the correct FCC number.

Follow the procedure in the FSM explicitly.

There's absolutely no reason it shouldn't.

The codes match and they were the one's that the original owner was using but for some reason we have tried several times with the directions and still cannot seem to get the hazard or interior lights to flash after putting them in the ignition as directed.

If they don't flash I think its okay because that may refer to another vehicle.
