Hey i want to know how the greddy headers are working out for you. A lot of people say that HS is better but then greddy also has been in the game longer. Im not saying greddy is better then HS im sure HS is good, but i just want to know how the greddy headers are working out for the ones that have them.

I have a HS header and it has been working perfectly for me for the last two weeks since I installed it. $320 shipped from enjuku. Not a bad deal. :)

I hear the greddy header is a little thin on the tubing and has fitment problems.

is this all the greddy header comes with http://www.optauto.com/webstor...pt=68or does it also come with the other pipe to connect it to the cat? Also where and how much did you guys buy yours from. Thanks

The Greddy only replaces the manifold, not the entire cat/downpipe like the Hotshot. Less power gains and higher cost, plus they're more prone to cracking.

I went through three of those headers before I got a hotshot header. all three broke at the collector, But I cant say anything bad about greddy because they over night shipped from cali to my front door saterday delivery when the second one broke.

I used to have Greddy headers until today. Let me say that they start off LOOKING really nice but in the long run they are very poor quality. They crack at the collector pipe and the tubing is so thin that the header sprung leaks at the flange where they mount to the engine. If you think about it, greddy stopped making them for a reason and no one seems to know anything about it. I just bought a hotshot header today. I had my mechanic install it. MAJOR difference at 3000-6000 rpm. My car now pulls really hard. A tad louder though. Hope they last longer than the greddy ones...

Hi Technoman,

I was wondering about the order in which you did your mods. The only things left are the nissan motorsports cams then possibly the JWT ECU. How much of a difference would these mods make after installing the intake, header and exhaust?

If the question has been asked before, sorry. I'm still trying to make the best use of the search feature.

The first mod I got was of curse a K/N cone. After that I got a custom KAT back exhaust made with no resonator 2-1/ 4 pipe and big *** Borla muffler named the Blow torch form Borla’s import muffler series. After that I went through three greddy headers and they all broke so I had to put my mani back on and got refunded. At the time I was modding my car I worked at a Nissan dealer and got great discounts. So I ordered a set of Nissan motor sports racing cams witch are bad ***! At first I used them with the Stock mani and Kat and OBD 2 with no problems. The next thing I ordered was an Hot shot 3inch intake. Guys this thing is huge and matches perfectly to the throttle body. Nice gains with that mod! I removed the direct drive fans and did a electric fan install. The next mod was a hotshot header and at the time I installed the header I cleaned up the exhaust ports and matched the gaskets. At this point my clutch was not working to well so I elected to use a Star spec 2 clutch. I have a j30 diff but im not happy with the gear so im going to change it back to 4.08 . JWT programmed a 95 S14 ecu that I use and it makes the car feel really cool. I need a Z32 MAF

I sent it back and it really sucked because I would have to bolt that iron block of a mani back on and it was not fun studs breaking a crap!
