doc can you do me a fav and take a few pics of the bottum video unit enclosure at the bottum of your center console. Im gettin something made like that with fiberglass, but the shop want to see a closer picture. They quoted me $180 for the fiberglass with install, etc. is that good price?

yes, when i get a chance.. but you do know that that is just the bottom change drawer that comes with the tech package vehicles... I just bought it and the brakets for it from everythingnissan.com... then i had my shop cut out the opening a little bigger ti fit my dvd playr down there... I have the dvd player mounted in the rear, attched to part of the frame of the car

hmm.. interesting... i want to put either a 3'' screen or 3.5'' headunit in there, with them leaving my center console how it is. but i dont kno if thats a wise decision maybe i should just go get an indash screen 8\ but then again i dont want to change the oem console.

wel, you can't put a flip out monitor down there , but you could definately do a custom fibeglass enclosure like the one you're talking about. For your purposes, that might be better. When you say 3" or 3.5" headunit, exactly what do you mean???

ahh screen size wise i meant.. thats sounds like a good idea if there going to make a fiberglass encloser i might as well put a flip screen down there right.. the only problem i would have is i would probly have to put the car in drive to flip the screen out hmmm...possibilites
