ok win you set your timing to tdc is yous timing marks suppost to line up on the crank pully.for some reason i cant remember this.

yes i sould know better sorry.

To set TDC, you want to line the second marking from the left on the crank pulley with the indicator on the lower timing cover. Or, the poor man's way is to put a screwdriver into the cyl#1 spark plug hole and watch for it to reach its peak height while rotating the crankshaft.

HAHAHA, Ive done poor mans way on my old ka, with a straw however,its on the side(KA_E) !!!

Works fine either way.

And FYI, The timing marks are as follows from left to right, facing the motor.
