does your cd-400 run hot? when i take a cd out after playing all the way through, the cd is hotter to the touch than with any other stereo i've used. just checking to see if anybody can verify that theirs does this also. i've checked the power and ground conns to the unit and they're solid. thanks. randy

Same thing happened with my old pioneer. It was like a 98 or 99 model though. Made me drop the cd a couple times. Probably wasn't that hot but was in shock of that much heat so thought it would.Could always pick it right back up and it was warm. MY sister's CD palyer can't remember namebrand CD's were always hot. My pioneer only did it a few times.
