Well, as far as speed is concerned, its definately out of its league compared with those two... and if you look, the genesis coupe got the best start!!!!

If it makes the genesis lovers feel better, looks like it would beat the A/C 3.5 in a straight up drag but as far as being a competitor of the G37 (As Hyundai likes to claim)... uhh.. NO NOT NEVER!!!!!!!!! lol

Gensis Coupe rocks! Recently it got retested and numbers show its only .2 seconds slower than the g37 in the quarter mile after reflashing the ECU and fixing the rear wheel alignment. That's still pretty impressive.

true, and I agree with Mchedaddi that, for the price, its a darn good deal... unfortunately, I hold fast to my prediction that, due to the the economic climate in which the Genesis coupe was released, it is doomed for failure! BUt still a nice car! I still have yet to see one of you Hyundai Genesis coupe lovers trade in your Altima and put your money where you mouth is

lol my bro had his mind set on getting the genesis coupe v6 top spec, but after seeing it in real life like three times at the dealership he changed idea lol. it's too cheap with the hard plastics and not that powerfull for the 36K$ it costs here. he now wants a used 2004+ s2000 (starts at 20K here)

Seriously, all the "ZOMG THE GENESIS" should be looking at the new Camaro - that's a real car for $23k...the V6 is pretty sweet, coming in under 6, and the V8 is going to be hella powerful, getting the car to 60 in like 4.6...all for $30k...

Camaro is too American for my taste, looks gaudy. those thing will be everywhere like the chargers , chalenger and mustangs. and they should devaluate like CRAZY if they are mass produced like this gen mustang. really not my style.

V6 camaro camaro only 23k for it and it has 300 hp and then the SS camaro is 30k and has 430 hp and can be faster then a rocket if you want it to be lol honestly, if the camaro was around when i was shopping for my coupe, i'd probably be driving an SS camaro right now.... but i love my coupe and wont trade it in

ok idk bout u but the camero v6 is so ghey if ur gonna get american muscle then go get the v8. On top of that i feel like that car has been so drawn out that its not even nice anymore......i also feel like the challenger sucks too its not even that fast i mean come on. If you want some muscle go buy a vette these carsa will b horrible for everyday use. Go drive it in the rain or snow and then well c how great they are. Its not practical and everyone keeps dissen on hyundai but thery HAVE gotten better. No i dont think 30k would ever be a good price for one but we will see with time. And who knows gm might not ev en be here much longer. There resale is horrible right now compared to what it used to be.

and brembos aern't for show because this is a TRACK car . plus the 19s aern't optional they are standard for the r-spec.

Forced induction a waste of time? are you mad? with minimum money FI can have huge gains, like 50HP with a reflash. and they motor is derived from the one in the EVO X so the gains are guarantied.

and I'm not talking about the v6 genesis i'm talking specifically about the BEST BANG FOR THE BUCK being THE R-SPEC GENESIS COUPE 2.0T.
