true, and I agree with Mchedaddi that, for the price, its a darn good deal... unfortunately, I hold fast to my prediction that, due to the the economic climate in which the Genesis coupe was released, it is doomed for failure! BUt still a nice car! I still have yet to see one of you Hyundai Genesis coupe lovers trade in your Altima and put your money where you mouth isphobs wrote:I never said they were in the same league. Add another ~8k then you'll get yourself a luxury sport coupe. Gen coupe is intended for tuning enthusiasts and for the price it offers, it's a hell of a car.
lol my bro had his mind set on getting the genesis coupe v6 top spec, but after seeing it in real life like three times at the dealership he changed idea lol. it's too cheap with the hard plastics and not that powerfull for the 36K$ it costs here. he now wants a used 2004+ s2000 (starts at 20K here)rjdmmfl1 wrote:

Camaro is too American for my taste, looks gaudy. those thing will be everywhere like the chargers , chalenger and mustangs. and they should devaluate like CRAZY if they are mass produced like this gen mustang. really not my style.marlin29311 wrote:
Seriously, all the "ZOMG THE GENESIS" should be looking at the new Camaro - that's a real car for $23k...the V6 is pretty sweet, coming in under 6, and the V8 is going to be hella powerful, getting the car to 60 in like 4.6...all for $30k...
thats the way i always felt about mustangs and camaros BUT the new Camaro V6 is going to have 300 hp.....Beak wrote:dude the camero has to be a v8. i could never buy a v6. it would be pointless
it doesn't have a track tunned suspension with forced induction with HLSD with 4 wheels bremo and blistein dampers and springs and 19-inch gunmetal-finish alloy wheels with staggered-width high-performance summer-compound Bridgestone Potenza RE050A tires (225/40YR19 front, 245/40YR19 rear). thats why the genesis the better bang for the buck. plus the new camaro v6 is way too heavy for it's 300hp. best bang for the buck is still the 23K$ Spec-R genesis coupe coupeHussain wrote:

ive mentioned before in other genesis coupe threads when people start talking about how ithe genesis is an amazing deal and how its great and everything. V6 camaro camaro only 23k for it and it has 300 hp and then the SS camaro is 30k and has 430 hp and can be faster then a rocket if you want it to be lol honestly, if the camaro was around when i was shopping for my coupe, i'd probably be driving an SS camaro right now.... but i love my coupe and wont trade it in
Couple things wrong there...mcheddadi wrote:

ok idk bout u but the camero v6 is so ghey if ur gonna get american muscle then go get the v8. On top of that i feel like that car has been so drawn out that its not even nice anymore......i also feel like the challenger sucks too its not even that fast i mean come on. If you want some muscle go buy a vette these carsa will b horrible for everyday use. Go drive it in the rain or snow and then well c how great they are. Its not practical and everyone keeps dissen on hyundai but thery HAVE gotten better. No i dont think 30k would ever be a good price for one but we will see with time. And who knows gm might not ev en be here much longer. There resale is horrible right now compared to what it used to be.marlin29311 wrote:

Genesis coupe - RWD...no HLSD for RWD.
RE50's suck - we don't know what tires are on the Camaro yet, but we'll find out. And you have the option of getting up to 21" wheels factory...
Brembo's - all for show....who needs that for real? Plus, the SS has brembos - and they're larger...not that you're really using them...not to mention the track tuned suspension on the SS....
FI is a waste of time - NA with higher power wins.
And seriously, the base model Camaro is faster than the suped up V6...and there will be hella mods for it because it's American. And if you get the V8 for 28k, you'll blow that s*** out of the water....
Honestly, the Camaro is 100% better than the Genesis coupe from every angle - and it doesn't look like a recycled G...
Truth be told I'm considering a trade...
in my mind I was thinking torsen differential, don't know why I wrote Helical lol.marlin29311 wrote:
