Cheap, easily available, cheap manifold ($100) that holds up very well, can use SR intercooler piping, can use off-the-shelf SR downpipe and O2 extension, etc.

well depends on the goals you have for the car. some people want to make double the stock power, some want to make 3 times the stock power. if you only want double the power, then the t25/t28 route is good for you. also your wallet will be heavier if u go that route as supposed to going with a larger turbo. the obvious issues would be that the turbo becomes a blow dryer after a certain rpm but if your just looking for some "pep" on your dd without getting too crazy, it might be the right choice for ya.

honestly i prefer a larger turbo for this engine but different strokes for different folks.

"IMHO its a trade off, little turbos are great for fast spool, big turbos make big power..... "

You mean like the difference between the above turbo, and this one.

Personally, after having both BIG power wins hands down.

the H1C exhaust side is massive on the ka. at what rpm do you get full boost and when you start to see boost?

You are cheap? I don't ever want to hear someone say that. There is a difference between 'cheap', and 'ingenuitive'.

My RS diaphragm ripped too. Wanna know what I did? Went to the BX(store), bought an inner tube for a bicycle, and cut out my own. I goo'd it up with a bit of Armor All to keep her pliable, and made a new diaphragm. I wish I would have taken pictures, but I was having a redneck moment at the time.
