Yeah its not the first, this would only make haters say "look they need to ask for nissan for power."

The day you find me a 240sx powered by a honda B/H series engine i'll die of, well... shock.

and yes i know those are fwd engines.

its just for the custom factor....any other reasoning would lead the sr (bluebird) swap into the SER, its a much better base for a FWD platoform due to the weight/strenth ratio.....but i guess some people cant get away from their honda's : )

Yeah i like hondas and nissans. I had a 2000si pushing 260hp to the wheels, then i sold it to get rid of the car payment, I now have a 92 240 with a sr20det on the way. I like both cars, I hate haters.

oh come on now guys i know ur ready to see my b16a in my s14 .. i almost have it ready to go in ...lmao.. rrrrrriiiiiittte .. i just dont see the point in this ... i would have put a h22 turbo or gsr turbo.. but i also dont drive fwd ...i know a guy w/ a high 12 sec. civic as far as the power goes but he cant break 15's cause it wont hook up ... cause its a fwd .. i told him to get an lsd and some drag tires .. he enjoys burnin those off the rim .. GOOOO HONda...

thats cool.. why doesnt someone run a ka or a sr20de... in the all motor drag class.. maybe they do i just havnt seen it.. i want to see if they could pull 11's outa a nissan 4 banger all motor i am sure its possible .. just have not seen it .. i think they have a neon running 11's .. so i think a nissan can

He he, I'm not a civic hater, but I did think about the various Top Secret stuff I could have pulled with my 240......F20C S2000 motor would prolly be the motor to throw in a 240, slap a big nasty turbo on it and your all done.....But I picked the 240 chassis becasue of the SR20DET turbo tunability.-James

The reason they did it probably just for show purpose. Being one of a kind is different from being a ricer. If you turbocharged the B16 motor, you can run about 12 or low 12's with it with internal mods and all those good stuff. So by throwing in a SR20DE in a civic, it's just something that cool, fun to have. I saw some guys in Malasia or however you spell it, put a Eclipse Cyclone in a Civic...I bet that thing flies. Or forget what I said above and let's just say they are NUTS.

I dont have anything against honda, i just have a problem with ricers, and the ricers car of choice is the civic, which is a "yucky" commuter car...

Better for ricers to like civics than 240sx.
