I want to get blue footwell light. Where can I buy it and what to get?

rjdmmfl1, I had bookmarked your thread about footwell light, but now I couldn't find it anymore since they changed the layout. Any suggestions, doc?

here's my thread...

definately do LED's .. neon lights take up WAAYYY too much battery power... and the LED's will give you a nice, subtle glow, rather than a distracting super bright glow that you get from neons!

doc, can you give the link where you bought your leds for the footwell?

And what type of leds do I need to buy?

How many leds do you have on each side of the footwell?

follow the link and read the entire thing.. all of your questions are answered there, including install, switch, ebay site, number of led's, mods to ebay kit, etc.

I got the same exact kit that Doc did and the same oznium switch. It looks great and the install isn't that bad- just need basic electrical knowledge. The kit comes with 4 LEDs but I only used 2 of the bars.

i went with the prewired superflux///http://www.oznium.com/prewired-superflux

they have a chrome one that has more lights and is more expensive... but its not recessed... i want to embedd this into the cupholder so its flush on the bottom... With the chrome ones it would be ontop.... waterprooff baby... bring on the big gulps!

it is not too bright. currently i have 2 strips per side. I'm thinking of putting 1 strip per side in the front and also in the back seats.

I thought I found a good place to get the footwell lights to come on with dome light, but it didn't work out. so what i did was getting the 12vdc power off the existing wires that are used for the sunroof. by doing that, I don't have to cut any wires. I will try to take some pictures.
